No.2 South View Lodges is situated in a secluded position with magnificent views over the Urr
estuary and surrounding countryside, this delightful single storey
lodge is the ideal holiday retreat and provides an excellent base from
which to explore the wonderful Dumfries and Galloway area. The lodge is
most attractively situated and is within easy access of the picturesque
village of Kippford situated on the Urr estuary and a popular sailing
centre. The village has two pubs both serving food and two small shops,
open seasonally, with an excellent mini market, open all year, within a
short drive.
The lodge is situated in one of the most popular
holiday areas on the Solway Coast providing easy access to wonderful
sandy beaches, to the hills and to a number of interesting towns and
villages all worth exploring. There are several golf courses within an
easy drive including the championship links course at Southerness.
