This extremely comfortable property has recently been completely refurbished and furnished and is available for letting for the first time from May 2009. Situated on the Airds Estate nr Mossdale the cottage enjoys a rural location with excellent views of the surrounding countryside.

The property sleeps four persons via a twin and a double room, has a spacious lounge and well equipped modern kitchen.

This property is situated close the Loch Ken in Dumfries and Galloway and situated on the boundary of and has direct views of the Galloway Forest Park and is central to the Galloway Kite Trail which offers some stunning opportunities to watch these incredible birds at close quarters.

The property is ideally situated to access the Galloway Forest Park and the many activities on offer including mountain biking on the world famous 7stanes routes. If scenery and wildlife is what you are after then you will find no better location in Galloway.

The property is situated on the western shores of Loch Ken and directly across from the Galloway Activity Centre which offers a range of watersports including Sailing, Kayaking and offshore activities for all the family.

Private course fishing on Loch Ken and Loch Skerrow is available by prior arrangement as well as access to several private trout lochs for Brown and Rainbow Trout.

This property has an open fire on which logs can be burned. If you wish to use this feature a charge of £20.00 per week will be made for use of the logs provided.
