Self Catering Scottish Holiday Cottage near Borgue, Kirkcudbright, Dumfries and Galloway.

A superbly situated and spacious country cottage with panoramic views of unspoilt farmland in the foreground, the Solway Firth and Wigtown Bay to the south and west and the Galloway hills.
The cottage has been modernised, extended and equipped with all that is needed for a comfortable holiday. Access is by a farm road which continues over the hill to Brighouse Bay where there is a golf course, swiming pool, pony trekking etc and just further on is a sandy beach leading to a wonderful cliff top walk. Kirkcudbright (Scotland"s Artists" Town) and Gatehouse of Fleet are about 20mins drive away and have a good variety of shops and an excellent range of hotels, restaurants, pubs and cafes.

The enclosed three quarter acre garden is all that most energetic children could wish for. Excellent sea fishing, coastal walks, local cycling etc and situated within a wildlife conservation area. As well as the golf course at Brighouse there are a number of other courses in the area. The cottage is warm and cosy in winter so is also suitable for winter lets.
