Self Catering Scottish Holiday Cottage, Isle of Whithorn, Dumfries & Galloway. Situated in a very secluded position in open countryside close to nature and surrounded by natural wildlife with delightful far reaching 360 degree views and a large sheltered garden, this modernised cottage is ideal for a peaceful self catering holiday.

Further improvements were completed in 2010 including new windows, a new fitted kitchen and a new central heating system all of which further enhance this delightful cottage.

Enjoying a considerable degree of privacy, the cottage is only a short drive from the delightful fishing village of Isle of Whithorn with its sheltered harbour and two pubs, both serving food. Also a short drive away is the historic town of Whithorn with its archaeological dig visitor centre and useful local shopping facilities including an excellent award winning delicatessen and cafe.

The cottage is within walking distance of St Ninian's Cave and is close to Wigtown, Scotland's Booktown with its numerous book shops, galleries and cafes.

This area has much to offer for those looking for a relaxing holiday but there are also great facilities for the sportsman and fisherman, excellent walking and cycling and many golf courses including the delightful St Medan's course adjacent to the beach at Monreith.
