Auchencheyne Country House offer quality accommodation for small and medium parties or families to enjoy a Country Holiday Cottage in an idyllic part of southern Scotland. Your accommodation at Auchencheyne Country House is on a working farm, producing organic vegetables as well as 400 beef cows and 3000 sheep.

Built in 1700 and located between the delightful villages of Moniaive and St.Johns Town of Dalry, Auchencheyne Country House offers accommodation based in a self contained wing to allow you the freedom to enjoy your country break on a Self Catering or Bed and Breakfast basis. The location of Auchencheyne Country House makes it ideal for exploration, sport activities including the mountain bike trails at Drumlanrig and Ae or simply relaxing. Because of its proximity to the Southern Upland Way, Mary & Neil are happy to offer Vehicle Support services to walkers wishing to stay at Auchencheyne.

Our Auchencheyne holiday cottage is an ideal location for a holiday for you and your horse.
We are also an ideal location, 90mins from Stranraer / Cairnryan ferry, for an overnight stay for you and your horse in transit to Ireland.

Up to 6 horses can be accommodated.
Special feeds can be arranged.

The holiday cottage accommodation can also be booked on a weekly let or for longer breaks. We are sure that once you have stayed with us, you will be back for a longer stay to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside!
