Rockcliffe, with it's sandy beach, fine hotel and
tearoom, is a very popular holiday destination and has a spectacular
setting on the Urr Estuary. The nearby village of Kippford is a popular
sailing centre with a well known waterfront pub and a scenic footpath
to Rockcliffe.
