Description
The loch is approximately 1 mile outside of Balmaclellan on the A712 towards Dumfries.

Barscobe Loch is a beautiful loch situated in the grounds of Barscobe Castle. It holds wild brown trout in good numbers and size which give a good account of themselves when hooked. This is an enjoyable loch for the angler who likes good sporting fish, with the peace and tranquillity of the outdoors.
