At Friars Carse, our self-catering cottages are two mintues walk from the hotel
itself and all our guests can make full use of the facilities at the
hotel.
The Whistle Restaurant, which takes its name from a Burns poem, serves excellent local cuisine and has extensive wine list.
We have a comfortable lounge and bar where you can enjoy a 'wee dram' and our friendly staff will look after you.
Beech Cottage is the newest of our refurbished self- catering
cottages. It forms part of an old stable block which is Grade B listed.
It was built in the 18th century and has been extended
during time to form an enclosed courtyard. The building is made from
local sanstone. Beech Cottage forms one half of one side of the stable
block.

Beech Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including: -

A comfortably and generous sized lounge with sofa bed and TV/DVD player.
Two well furnished bedrooms (with one en-suite), one double/twin
bedroom with en-suite facilities and one single bedroom and bathroom.
Bedding and towels provided.
With central heating throughout the cottage. There is a small patio
outside the cottage with views overlooking the field to the front.
Free internet access is also available at the cottage.
