Bluehill Farmhouse B&B, a traditional stone building rests in open countryside three quarters of a mile from the village of Auchencairn on the coast between Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway, southern Scotland.

Near the Solway coastline of southern Scotland, Bluehill Farmhouse B&B offers superb views and high standards of accommodation. From its elevated position, Bluehill Farmhouse has views across the water to the mountains of the Lake District in the distance.

Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbright and the whole of Dumfries and Galloway are within easy reach.

Aileen, the owner of Bluehill Farmhouse, is happy by prior arrangement to provide a free lift to/from the village of Auchencairn in the evening, to allow guests to enjoy a drink with their supper at 'The Smugglers Inn'.
