Braeside is a large 3 bedroom cottage situated in central Galloway in the picturesque village of Balmaclellan.

Close to all amenities , this cottage offers the perfect holiday base for exploring everything that south west Scotland has to offer. Braeside is only 1.5miles from Loch Ken(fishing and Water sports) and less than 45 minutes to either the Solway or Ayrshire coasts.

The bustling food town of Castle Douglas is only 12 miles away and Kirkcudbright, Wigtown, Ayr, Port Patrick, Rockcliffe, Kipford and Dumfries are easy drives from Balmaclellan. You can visit Threave Garden and Castle, the famous Cream O’Galloway Ice Cream Farm , explore the Galloway forest, take the Red Kite trail or just visit the wealth of beautiful and interesting towns and villages that make a visit to Galloway the perfect holiday location!

Price per week:  up to £430 during the peak holiday period.
