the region. Wigtown, which is Scotland's Booktown, is within a 5 minute
drive and several sandy beaches, interesting villages and harbours are
all accessible within a half hour"s drive. This is a wonderful area for
the naturalist, the highlight being the nearby Wigtown Bay nature
reserve. Several golf courses are within easy reach and this is
wonderful walking and cycling country with part of the 7 Stanes mountain
bike network being within a ten minutes drive of the house.
