Chapelerne Farmhouse is a substantial traditional detached farmhouse standing in an elevated
position commanding wonderful southerly views across the surrounding
farmland towards the hills. The house has been completely renovated to
a very high standard throughout and provides superb accommodation. It
is situated on the owners" farm with access off a quiet country road
offering considerable seclusion yet within a short drive of the market
town of Castle Douglas which provides excellent shopping and
recreational facilities. The town is designated as Galloway"s Food Town
and apart from an excellent range of shops there are anumber of hotels,
pubs and restaurants. The Solway Coast is within a short drive giving
access to safe sandy beaches and stunning coastal scenery.
For the
sportsman sea, game and coarse fishing is available in season, a wide
selection of golf courses including the championship course at
Southerness and excellent facilities for the walker and cyclist with
easy access to parts of the 7Stanes mountain bike network.
This
house is particularly suitable for a party which has a member who is
disabled. There is level access in to the front of the house and the
ground floor bedroom has its own ensuite shower room specially fitted
out for disabled use.
There are spacious sitting rooms on both
ground and first floors each with their own television (plus one in the
Dining Room) allowing family flexibility.

a working farm dogs must be kept under strict control at all times.
