Cherrytrees was built in 1746 - the year Bonnie Prince Charlie failed to win the Crown - and is believed to be the second oldest building in the village.

Although a listed building it has been sympathetically updated, providing modern comfort whilst retaining its character and charm .The lounge for instance has a particular feature, its high ceiling with ornate early 19th Century plaster work. It is situated on the first floor, and is available for the sole use of our guests as is the separate TV lounge. The house is fully centrally heated with double glazing to all rooms.
We have two guest bedrooms - one double and one twin-bedded; both are en-suite, well appointed, tastefully furnished and decorated. Both bedrooms have colour TV, hospitality tray and hair driers etc. The bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and plenty of fluffy cotton towels.

We have secure storage for your cycles etc. and off-street secure parking is available for your car or motor-bike. We have a drying room and can provide washing and ironing facilities, along with the use of a trouser press.

At Cherrytrees we do not like to place restrictions on our guests and to that end you may come and go as you please and the use of our beautiful garden and patio area are available to you.

For your safety and comfort Cherrytrees is a No Smoking house, but the patio and garden are available for those who partake.

We invite you to stay with us, to discover that our standards are "more a small Country House Hotel than a B&B".
