Description

Clachan Cottage is a traditional stone cottage in the small village of St John's Town of Dalry and is situated right next door to the Clachan Inn (falling distance).

The cottage has been fully modernised recently and provides an excellent, comfortable snug base for a holiday.

Dalry is a most attractive village with superb views across the upper valley of the River Ken. It is located on the Southern Upland Way and is an ideal base for hill walking, sight seeing or one of the many country pursuits available locally.

Disabled Access: Clachan cottage has a ground floor bedroom and bathroom making this ideal for those less able.

The Clachan Inn also has access for the less able making this an ideal location to enjoy a self catering holiday. The River Ken is situated to the rear of the cottage and the Inn and offers excellent riverside walks with stunning views of the Galloway Hills.

Private trout fishing is available nearby on Mossroddich Loch, boats available.
