| Corrie, Isle of Arran Corrie is on the east coast of the Isle of Arran, 6 miles north of Brodick. The village lies under the island's highest mountain, Goatfell, and a path provides access to the hillside. Above Corrie harbour, old caves extend into the hills; the caves are remnants from old limestone quarries. Once the quarrying was exhausted the caves were used for boat building and repair. The caves are now unsafe for anyone to venture into.
Just south of Corrie there is a track that leads up Goatfell. | |
