Cringletie House is a luxurious and romantic small country house hotel in the Scottish Borders.

Just 20 miles south of Edinburgh, our idyllic rural setting allows our guests to escape the stress and noise of everyday life, without having to drive hours to do so. With 4 red stars 4 AA Red Stars, we're the only AA Top Hotel (Inspector's Choice) in the Scottish Borders. Equally, no other hotel south of Edinburgh has been awarded 4 gold stars 4 Gold Stars by Visit Scotland.

We've a very good reputation for weddings and other celebrations. We are happy to arrange activities and experiences like fishing, golf and spa treatments. Or we can just leave you alone to unwind, while you enjoy the pleasures of our fine 2 Rosettes food and 28 acres of grounds.

Cringletie is open all year round, including Christmas and New Year. We welcome well-behaved children and dogs, and we have two rooms where dogs can be accommodated. The hotel is fully wheelchair-accessible, with many facilities for guests with a disability.
