Curlew Cottage is a detached two storey house situated in its own lovely spacious
grounds with an open outlook to the front and within walking distance
of the centre of the village and the estuary. The house has recently
been completely refurbished and furnished and equipped throughout to a
high standard providing excellent holiday accommodation. Although
within the village, the property is very private and the large garden
is ideal for children.
The village of Kippford, situated on the
river estuary and well known as a sailing centre, is one of the most
popular and scenic holiday destinations in Dumfries and Galloway. There
are two pubs serving food within walking distance and local shops
within easy access,one being a ten minute walk from the house. This is
an ideal base for an active holiday or the perfect place to relax and
unwind.
There are lovely walks in the area including the scenic
coastal walk between Kippford and the nearby coastal village of
Rockcliffe, many sandy beaches and golf courses within a short drive
and part of the 7Stanes mountain bike network is within a 5 minute
drive of the house.
