Roe deer have benefited in Galloway from the enormous upsurge in forest investment, particularly through the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. With the extra habitat created their population exploded Although not generally known for their quality of antler, many fine heads of the medal category are acquired annually in Galloway.
The Galloway red deer are renowned for their quality and size and are amongst the best in Scotland. They provide exceptional sport, be it with rifle or camera and we cater for both.
