Set within the charming grounds of a former fourteenth century nunnery, this exceptional house commands a unique position with stunning, panoramic views over Dhoon Bay, the Dee estuary and out to sea. The adjacent, child-friendly, sandy beach and rocky coastline, make this an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. The rocky shore gives every opportunity for fishing and exploring the pools left by the tide. The house is surrounded by its own large garden, and the cottage is behind and to one side of the house giving each sufficient privacy. Four miles away is the fascinating historic harbour town of Kirkcudbright. This former artists" colony, now known as the Artists" Town, provides varied holiday entertainment including golf, tennis, fishing, indoor swimming and its extensive Summer Festivities programme.
