This pretty cottage is one of four cottages in a courtyard, in grounds of a large country house.
Whilst in the countryside they are close to a number of interesting places to visit - the marbles at Durisdeer Church, Drumlanrig Castle , Galloway Forest Park and Forest of Ae and Southern Upland Way, fish, golf or visit a number of small towns and villages for local shops, crafts and good eating out. The Striding Arches installation by Andy Goldsworthy is in nearby Cairnhead Forest, Moniaive. One and a half hours from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The cottages are all on ground floor and the shared courtyard has parking for each house . There is a private garden for holiday makers.

Partly adapted for wheelchair user with ramp access, low level light switches, toilet rails etc. but regrettably not suitable for unaccompanied wheelchair/disabled user. Pets welcome.
