The Glentress Hotel and Restaurant, situated right by the entrance to the world famous Glentress 7stanes mountain bike trails, is owned and run by Olivier and Claire Bony.

The Glentress Hotel and Restaurant is the ideal location for those who just love the great outdoors. It’s a haven for mountain-biking enthusiast, golfers, fishers and walkers alike. The hotel is situated in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Glentress Forest with easy access to the forest. Just five minutes drive away is Traquair forest in Innerleithen.

The Glentress Hotel and Restaurant is also situated a stones throw from the 18-hole championship standard golf course at Cardrona, a five minute drive from the 18-hole course in Peebles and the 9-hole course in Innerleithen. If you are here to fish we are a two-minute walk to the banks of the famous River Tweed.

The Glentress Hotel is situated on the main Edinburgh bus route so you can relax and take in the outstanding scenery of the Scottish Borders on route.

There is a refurbished 100 seater restaurant, balcony bar area with 42” plasma television and a fabulous outdoor terrace where you can eat from our extensive menus or just enjoy a relaxing drink taking in the beautiful surrounding.  The Glentress Hotel has one of the most popular restaurants in the Peebles area, with locals and tourists alike, and the kitchen is run by Chef Proprietor Olivier Bony. It is strongly advisable to book at the weekends.

The Glentress Hotel offer a good combination of doubles, twins and family rooms.  Each room has double glazing, central heating, flat screen TV and coffeee/tea making facilities.  We also have wireless card broadband access from the rooms for our guests who wish to bring their own laptop.
