The proprietors Helen and Robin invite you to the welcoming Gordon House. Whether dining in the Pegasus Restaurant or enjoying a meal in the lounge bar with our cuisine of fine Scottish Food, excellent wines and malts, makes for a tempting time or alternatively relax in the public bar which offers music, pool table and beer garden. All bedrooms are en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities and are furnished to a high standard.

The Gordon House Hotel is a fine Georgian Building set in the peaceful artist's Town of Kirkcudbright. Situated in the historic High Street, it is in easy walking distance to all amenities (working harbour, museum, galleries, shops, marina). Ideal for business and holiday stays with eight en-suite rooms, decorated to a high standard with great attention to detail. Lunches and evening meals are available throughout the week in the The Pegasus Restaurant,offering a wide range of food for all tastes, using fresh local produce.

We can cater for all your requirements and bring out the flavour of the area. If you prefer, we can serve your meal in our comfortable Lounge Bar, which has an open fire, fine wines, beers and a large selection of malts. Or you can have a few drinks in our Public Bar where you can enjoy a bar meal and a game of pool in a friendly atmosphere. We also have a secluded garden and patio for those warm summer days, whether you are enjoying a cool drink or joining one of our summer barbecues.

We cater for small conferences or business meetings and coach parties are welcome by arrangement. A warm and friendly welcome is offered to all our customers, where any requests are acted on to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
