All the Way through time and tradition
Southern Scotland has played a large part in the history of Scotland, it's legend and culture. Celts, Picts, Romans and Vikings have all left their mark on a landscape both the backdrop to violent bloody battles and later to thriving industrial fortune.
The area is also famous as the home and resting place of poet Robert Burns, and admired historical novelist Sir Walter Scott, many of whose epic stories are set here.
