Self Catering Scottish Holiday Cottage with swimming pool, Colvend near Rockcliffe, Dumfries & Galloway. A delightful detached traditional cottage situated in a secluded position on the owner's farm. Recently modernised and fully re-equipped, the cottage provides very spacious accommodation for 4 (or 5 with the addition of a small folding bed) with the advantage of the twin bedroom and the bathroom being located on the ground floor.

Within a short drive of the wonderful sandy beaches of Sandyhills and Rockcliffe and the holiday and sailing village of Kippford, Holly Cottage is an ideal base for a holiday in this area. Sporting facilities abound, there are bird reserves nearby and, for the golfer, there is an 18 hole course at Colvend (three minutes by car) and the championship links course at Southerness. Mabie Forest, within half an hour, has extensive forest tracks, an adventure playground for children and forms one of the stages of the 7Stanes mountain bike network.

Ground Floor: Entrance porch. Living room with cathedral ceiling, open wood fire and french doors to the garden. Kitchen/Dining just completely refitted and very well equipped (from this room rises the staircase to the first floor bedroom). Utility room. Twin Bedroom (Extra single folding bed available - suitable for a child). Bathroom with suite of bath (with mixer tap shower), WC, wash basin and bidet.

First Floor: Double Bedroom with four poster bed and gallery overlooking the living room below. (because of the low gallery rail this room is suitable for adults only).
