Close to the 16th century working water-mill, this delightful and spacious cottage with its beautiful enclosed garden lies in the heart of rural Galloway and enjoys easy access to all that SW Scotland has to offer. It is situated on the "Hidden Road", a 4 mile circle of quiet country lanes ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching and admiring the abundant wild life. Mill Pond and Burn trout fishing is available.
Only 2 miles away on Loch Ken, the family owned Galloway Sailing Centre provides a wide range of activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, quad and mountain biking, archery and also possesses a climbing and abseiling tower. Nearby the Galloway Forest Park is renowned for its off-road cycling facilities and New Galloway, Dalry and Crossmichael boast a variety of excellent eating places and good village shops.
