There are
lovely walks along the shore from the property and a short drive gives
access to spectacular coastal and hill scenery. This is excellent
walking and cycling country and there is an abundance of facilities for
the sportsman including fishing and sailing. Carrick shore is ideal for
swimming, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing. There are a number of golf
courses all within a short drive and the small towns of Kirkcudbright
and Gatehouse of Fleet, approximately 10 mins by car, have some
excellent hotels and restaurants plus well stocked shops.
