Location
Southern Scotland extends accross the entire width of Scotland stretching some 200 miles and is bounded by the central regions of Strathclyde and Lothian to the north and the English counties of Cumbria and Northumberland in the south.
It has the unique distinction of having the main arterial routes running right through the area but without having the congestion and population issues of both the Central Belt and certain areas of the Highlands. This means that the visitor can enjoy a true wilderness experience amongst some of the most unspoilt countryside in Europe.
