Description
Loch Ryan is an enclosed sea loch with mudflats and shingle spit at Wig Bay. In winter visitors can see wintering divers, grebes, waders and wildfowl including Scaup and Brent geese. World War II flying boats were based in Wig Bay. There are available guided walks by the Ranger Service.
