Description
This loch is approximately 5 miles north of Gatehouse of Fleet heading to Laurieston and is well signposted on the right. Loch Whinyeon is set in the beautiful Galloway hills with a breath taking view down the valley into Gatehouse of Fleet. There is about a mile walk up hill from the parking area, but once negotiated it is well worth it for the excellent fishing of these clean, hard fighting and well marked brown trout
