Adjacent to the National Trust for Scotland"s Threave Estate and forming part of the Wildfowl Refuge. Great variety of duck, geese and swans can be seen all the year round especially in the autumn and winter. Local towns, villages, shores and beaches are easily accessible. There are various recreational activities available within 10 miles: pony-trekking, sailing, windsurfing, wonderful walks over Forestry Commission trails, hills and moors, golf at nearby courses.
You can enjoy the use of a hard tennis court in the grounds, a full sized billard table in the house and 1 1/2 miles of private riverbank fishing (by permit from the owner) on the doorstep. Landing area for canoes and small dinghies. Netherhall is an ideal venue for a larger gathering but it is also a wonderful house for a small family holiday with lots to do in and around the house. 2 mornings domestic assistance is provided. Baby sitting and departure cleaning by prior arrangement.
