Richorn 7 is located next to the Dalbeattie Richorn Trailhead, one of the world famous 7 Stanes. It is an ideal location for cyclists who want to experience Southwest Scotlands' 7 Stanes mountain bike trails which cater for all cycling abilities. For example Mabie is 20 mins drive, Ae 35 mins and Kirroughtree 50mins.

Facilities offered at the B & B are ideal for small groups and families. Cost includes a full Scottish breakfast. Packed lunches available on request. Drying room with log burner, secure bike store, bike wash and large car park are available. Guests can make use of the large 40M? lounge c/w TV,DVD player and which opens out onto a substantial outdoor decking area overlooking the river Urr to the west. Richorn 7 has a large area of tidal river frontage where many different types of wildfowl can be viewed from either the decking or from the riverside path.

For those who are looking for a bit more from their break, the owners have an arrangement with Castle Douglas Squash Club 10 mins away, which for a small donation allows 24 hour access to the courts and weight room at the club. Racquets, balls and keys are made available.

Richorn 7 lies close to the popular villages of Kippford, Rockcliffe and Sandyhills Bay. The area is renowned for its good food and there are a number of good value pubs and hotels within a short distance of the B & B. Dalbeattie is a small town of around 4,800 population and it has a number of pubs, hotels and take-aways including Chinese, Indian, Italian, Turkish and good old Fish and Chips.
