Description This stretch of river runs from the Ken bridge on the cross road A713/A712 down stream and access is via the gate on New Galloway side of the bridge, go under the bridge and the river fishing stretch starts there. The river holds various sized wild brown trout for the game fisher and numerous pike and perch for the coarse angler. Wadding is not advised as sudden rises in water levels due to power station operations up stream, there is no fixed time for this so caution is advised.
