Rowan Cottage is a lovely terraced family house with a large enclosed garden, in a good position in the town. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs, golf course, bowling, tennis, the Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre and forest walksand only very short drives to good sandy beaches.
The tourist town of Gatehouse of Fleet sits at the head of the Fleet Estuary in the centre of the Fleet Valley "National Scenic Area". Watched over by the 15th Century Heritage Site of Cardoness Castle, it nestles between a coastline of sandy beaches and the gentle Galloway Hills.
Accommodation for up to 8 people, it is cosy in the winter and cool in the summer. Large sitting room(open fire), quiet sitting room (patio doors to sheltered sun terrace and garden beyond), kitchen/diningroom, cloakroom (wc) on ground floor. Upper floor has 3 bedrooms ( 1 king size double, 1 double, 1 twin plus 2 full size bunks) and a "Splash" designer bathroom with separate thermostatically controlled power shower.
