Caravan – Camping - Wigwams

3 Large Wooden Wigwams & 2 Large En-Suite Wooden Wigwams (Easter 2012)
Available for individuals, couples, families & well-behaved groups. Solway View Wigwams are comfortable, spacious & have heating. Enjoy the great outdoors in comfort.

Inside – Raised bed platforms/Mattresses, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave/grill. The EN-Suite Wigwam also has - WC/Basin and kitchen area has additional washing up sink.

Outside – Picnic bench & Campfire pit/Grill.

Solway View Caravan & Camping
Very spacious Caravan & Camping Pitches. We welcome Tourers, Caravans, Folding Campers & Tents. All pitches have picnic bench & Campfire pit/Grill

Solway View: located with stunning views over the estuary of the River Dee and into the Solway Firth. You can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this location and sit round your campfire watching the stars.

Coastal farmland surrounds and is easily accessed by sign posted footpaths. The nearby woodland can also be walked and is rich in wildlife and birds. Solway View is near some of the best beaches in Dumfries and Galloway and we also have access to a little secluded Bay.

Solway View offers a great base to explore the area. The towns of Gatehouse-of-fleet, Kirkcudbright, Newton Stewart and Castle Douglas are all within easy reach. Beautiful part of Scotland, as well as the 5 local 7 Stanes mountain bike trails; you can also enjoy many other facilities & activities - Water sports, Hill walking, Rock Climbing, Golf, fishing and much, much more!

Nearest Town, Kirkcudbright – “The Artists Town”- always worth a visit. Plenty of shops, Café’s, galleries and places to eat in/takeaway. Also, Supermarkets, Butchers and a fishmonger. At night there are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants serving excellent food, drink and hospitality. Good taxi services.

Cream O'Galloway is nearby – Outside & Indoor play area, caters for all ages. Delicious ice cream and a tea room with a great selection of meals. Bike Hire available.
