Description

The Mews has been specially created (2004) to accommodate fishermen and anyone enjoying country life.

Four (twin) en suite bedrooms with kitchen facilities provide an excellent venue to enjoy this wonderful area with its superb fishing, local shooting, walking and cycling. Breakfasts can be provided by prior arrangement as can fishing on our private beats.

The Dalswinton Estate fishings are within the lower reaches of the river and are divided into 2 beats. The entire stretch offers good holding for late autumn salmon and early season sea trout. There are 23 named pools or flats and these provide for the full range of methods. The beats are well marked. Fishing huts are located next to each of the beats. Most of the pools are easily fished, but some sections require a bit of care when wading.

The Estate has a manager who oversees the fishing on a daily basis and who can give added assistance to those anglers who feel the need for a 'ghillie'.
