The Rache is an exceptional house created by the owners, for their
own use from eighteenth century farm buildings in 1995. They have
created a stunning, individual and comfortable holiday house for up to
twelve people ( 8 in the main house and 4 in the side wing ). It is
situated in the private policy grounds of Spottes House just outside
the village of Haugh of Urr.
Walk to the pub( good food and real ale). Castle Douglas, the Food Town, is
3 miles away. Walking and cycling are perfect local activities and
sailing, waterskiing, riding, golf and country sports are also
available locally. Tennis is by informal arrangement. On hot summer
evenings bask in the sun and don"t go anywhere!

floors with additional single storey wing. Main House: Large
Kitchen/Dining Room, Sitting Room, Hall/Utility, Cloakroom with WC, 2
Double Bedrooms one with en suite, Two Twin Bedrooms, Bathroom. Side
wing: Sitting Room, Two Twin Bedrooms, Shower room.

heating. Bed Linen available. Aga and electric oven with gas hob.

Parking. Tennis Court and Garden (with furniture and BBQ) shared with owner.
