About the Course Thornhill Golf Club consists of a mixture of both heath and parkland courses, with fantastic panoramic views, near the picturesque village of Thornhill. The course originally only consisted of 9-holes, but since has been expanded to 18 in 1979. This course in particular is regarded as being one of the finest in South West Scotland and often referred to as a "hidden gem".
