Description
For one of the most beautiful locations in Scotland, look no further than Three Lochs Holiday Park. Set on the banks of Loch Heron this spacious and tranquil park offers all its visitors the peace and stunning scenery that is only found by those few who are searching for the perfect setting in which to enjoy their leisure time.

Nestled in the heart of the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland you will find a host of activities awaiting you on your doorstep. The Galloway Forest Park is renowned for its fabulous range of wildlife and majestic mountain scenery, which can be enjoyed throughout the year and is but a few miles from the park. A short drive will take you to a variety of sandy beaches such as Luce Bay, with the popular Wigtown Bay area providing history and points of interest for all the family to enjoy.

As part of the Holker Estates group of Holiday Home locations, the park has that essential feeling that comes with a long history of careful and sensitive development. The grounds are kept in pristine condition and, as you would expect, there is ample game in the area for you to enjoy. The renowned Black Loch is well stocked with brown trout and the nearby River Tarf can also provide the occasional salmon and sea trout. Loch Ronald is well known in the area for its Pike and both Lochs offer superb coarse fishing and have good launch facilities for you to enjoy boating and sailing.

The park is laid out with space and freedom in mind and, as such, each holiday home is positioned in its own individual way, so giving you that feeling of space. The park itself has a variety of facilities for you to enjoy such as the heated indoor pool, indoor games room providing pool, table tennis, video games etc. Whether you just want a quiet drink or a meal, there is a wide choice of places to go within a few miles of the park.

Three Lochs is well positioned for visiting the numerous and friendly villages in the area, with each offering their own unique dining experience and taste of rural life. If you enjoy the kingly sport of golf, then once again you will be happy with your chosen location of Three Lochs. Newton Stewart, St Medan and Wigtownshire County golf courses are all within a few minutes drive of the park and offer excellent courses to accommodate all standards of golfer.

For those who choose to explore the area there are a host of castles and museums to discover and enjoy. Whithorn Priory was the first Christian church in Scotland dating back to AD397 and is a must for the historians among you. The garden enthusiast is particularly well served in Dumfries and Galloway. The warm air from the Gulf Stream creates a mild temperate climate that is particularly conducive to the growing of unusual and exotic tropical plants and many of these can be seen in the nearby Castle Kennedy gardens and in the National Trust gardens at Port Logan and Threave.
