Set in the picturesque Dee Valley, offering some stunning views of the surrounding countryside, Tongland Family Golf Centre is family owned and offers golfers of all abilities the opportunity to experience golf in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We welcome golfers of all abilities and ages, individuals and family groups, including those who don't want to play golf but wish to unwind in our cafe and enjoy a meal or light refreshments while savouring the views. We are situated at Tongland, three miles from Kirkcudbright on the A711 Kirkcudbright - Castle Douglas road. As well as our range and golf course, we offer: a cafe serving a full range of hot and cold meals and snacks, filled rolls, cakes, scones, tea and coffee. A select range of foods sourced from local producers is also available. a small pro-shop selling a range of ladies, gents and junior golf clubs, shoes, golf balls, clothing, bags, trolleys, gloves and assorted golfing accessories all at competitive prices. Advance booking, with the exception of lessons, is rarely necessary simply turn up to pay and play on either the range or the course.
