Walking/Trekking
Different by miles!
The diverse landscape along Scotland's Southern Upland Way itself presents a range of terrains for hiking in scotland wide enough to suit every kind of walker from the novice to the expert.
From the challenging uplands of the Galloway Hills to walking gentle seaside trails, rolling moors and dramatic cliff-top walks, the Way presents the ideal focus from which to enjoy the many and varied shorter walks within the region.
You can find walking leaflets and specialist books in Tourist Information Centres, or order them by post in advance.
