Description

Whinmore is situated in the sleepy hamlet of Longformacus, Nr Duns.

There are many local walks that can be vehicle assisted if required. Not far away is The St Cuthbert's Way, and also The Borders Abbey Way. The Cheviots hills are also within easy travelling distance. The area is most suitable for cycling, both off road, and on the many signposted routes.

We are within one hour of Edinburgh City centre, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Bamburgh, Holy Island and the 21 golf courses of East Lothian and north Northumberland. One of the most visited places are the great many Castles and Country Houses we have to offer in the region, to explore these and their grounds take you back to the days of old.
